Past Presidents of the Association
Leadership in this Association is a three-year loan, not a possession. Each President receives a body in a certain condition and is expected to hand over a stronger one. This page records those who have carried it.
Elder Godswill Chimaobi
Presided over the Executive Committee that received and adopted the Association's first Constitution, drafted in 2019. The Association was formally constituted under his leadership.
Dr. Daniel E. Azunna
Emerged as President on 12 October 2019 at the second Homecoming, and led the first Executive Team to govern under the Constitution. Presided over the constitutional review of 2024, the establishment of the Scholarship Foundation, and signed the revised Constitution into effect on 7 July 2024.
Engr. Godspower M. James
Serves as the current President. Previously Executive Secretary of the Association, member of the 2019 Constitution Draft Committee, and Chairman of the 2024 Constitution Review Committee. His tenure has seen the establishment of the AAASF Academy, the Ventures feasibility programme, the Association's digital platform, and the planning of the first AAASF Conference.
