The Executive Committee
Elected officers of the Association, serving a three-year tenure.
The Association is governed by an Executive Committee made up of officers nominated by a Nominating Committee and voted in by the general house. The Committee makes strategic decisions, oversees the Association's activities, and represents it in official capacities. Major decisions are referred to the general membership.
Officers serve a tenure of three years, culminating at the Homecoming in the third year of service, where the handover takes place. Every officer is accountable to the general house and may be removed from office under the procedures set out in the Constitution.

How Officers Are Chosen
The general house constitutes an Organising Committee, which nominates a Nominating Committee, which in turn nominates officers for the Association. Nominations follow the Seventh-day Adventist Church mode of nomination as set out in the Church Manual, are gender sensitive, and seek to represent as many graduating classes as possible. Names are read twice before the house before voting, and members may raise views on any nominee after the first reading. No nomination is valid unless the candidate agrees to serve.
Only registered members in good and regular standing, meeting the eligibility criteria for the office concerned, may be nominated. The President must be at least five years from graduation; other offices require at least three.
