Events and calendar
An association that never gathers is a mailing list. Ours gathers — formally every quarter, in worship regularly, in training weekly during an Academy cohort, and in full every three years at the Homecoming.
Our Regular Calendar
General Meetings — Quarterly
Every member has a vote. The Association's financial position is presented without exception. This is where budgets are approved, officers report, and members raise matters.
The Homecoming — Every Three Years
The Association's largest gathering, at Umudike: worship, seminars, community service, awards, Senior Membership conferment, and the handover of office.
The AAASF Conference
A national professional and spiritual gathering, distinct from the Homecoming, taking the Association's work to a wider audience. The first is planned for Lagos in 2027.
Academy Sessions
Live on Google Meet during an active cohort — Saturday evenings after Sabbath, Sunday afternoons, and Thursday evenings. Open to registered participants.
Senior Banquet
Held at the end of the year for graduating members joining the Association, subject to the Executive Committee's programme.
No Association activity is scheduled during Sabbath hours. Where an event spans a Sabbath, the Sabbath is given to worship and fellowship, and business is transacted before or after.
