Patrons and Liaisons
Not every office in this Association is elected. Some are appointed by the Executive Committee because what they bring is not a mandate but a memory, a counsel and a connection. These offices are not nominated and do not stand for election.
The Patron
The Patron is a distinguished individual who serves as a symbol of support and guidance for the Association. The Patron provides moral guidance, helps promote the Association and its activities through fundraising and resource development, represents the Association at functions where the Executive Committee requires it, and supplies the historical perspective and institutional knowledge that a young association needs and cannot manufacture. Where the Patron is a member of the Association, the office carries Senior Membership by default.

Staff Advisers
Staff Advisers are either Senior Members of the Association or Staff Advisers of ASF MOUAU. They attend meetings of the Association when necessary, collaborate with the Executive Committee, assist in programme planning and development, and use their personal and professional experience to move both individuals and the Association towards a common goal. They are the living link between the alumni body and the Fellowship still running on campus.

Designated Conference and Union Leaders
The Executive Committee designates serving leaders of the Nigerian Adventist Students' movement and of the relevant Conference and Union to serve as liaison between Church leadership and the Association. They keep the Association's work aligned with the wider mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and ensure that what we do on campus is done with the Church, not merely alongside it.

Senior Members
Senior Membership is a perpetual and privileged status conferred on pioneering members of ASF MOUAU who have shown unwavering commitment to the Fellowship and continued to advance it after graduation, and on those instrumental in establishing the Alumni Association itself. Senior Members must be at least ten years from graduation at the time of conferment. The Executive Committee determines eligibility, and the honour is conferred at the Homecoming. Senior Members are regularly invited to Executive Committee meetings.
